Rules & Regulations NO ENTRY FEE DIVISION I - 10 YEARS OF AGE OR UNDER
1. Each Exhibitor may enter one animal in this show. 2. Weigh-in time will be Thursday, August 7, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. 3. All hogs will be evaluated by ultrasound on Thursday, August 7 starting at 9:00 PM until all hogs are completed. Carcass placing will be based upon ultrasound results. OWNERS DO NOT NEED TO BE PRESENT DURING THE ULTRASOUND PROCESS. This will be completed by fair board members. 4. Show time will be Friday, August 8, at 9:00 AM. Carcass results will immediately follow the showing of individual pigs. 5. Classes will be divided according to entry weight with no more than six (6) animals per class. Variations in class size may occur depending on the number of hogs that have been entered. 6. Entries must weigh a minimum of 200 pounds. 7. All entries will go to slaughter at a local slaughter plant on Friday, August 10, 2007 after the show has been completed. Owners do not need to be present during loading and transport of pigs. 8. Hogs will be paid on a grade and yield basis. 9. Hogs are the property of the exhibitor until accepted at the packing plant. 10. Any hog not of acceptable quality at the time of the show will be bought subject to USDA inspection. 11. All exhibitors or their parents must be Pork Quality Assurance Level III Certified to allow their hogs to be sold to the packing plant. Please make arrangements ahead of the Fair to have this completed.

Rules
& Regulations 1. All applications for entry must be made to the entry clerk no later than Thursday, August 7, at with Clark Rainboth at (712) 376-4594. 2. All entries must be farrowed after February, 2007. 3. No feed advertisements will be allowed in the hog barns. 4. Market pigs must weigh at least 200 pounds. 5. Pens will be composed of three (3) pigs – grade, purebred, or crossbred. Pens may be three (3) barrows or gilts or both. 6. Each exhibitor will be permitted to show one pen of three (3) and two (2) individual pigs in the Individual class. (Only three (3) market pigs total can be entered per exhibitor.) 7. Market pigs will be judged according to the group system. 8. Both the Champion Pen of Three and the Champion Individual will receive special ribbons. 10. All swine entries must be sold directly to market for slaughter. 11. No livestock sale will be held. Premium money will be paid from a fund provided by livestock fund contributors. 12. All exhibitors must have been through the Pork Quality Assurance
