72nd Annual Marcus Community Fair August 7-10, 2008 Seventy-two years ago, Marcus started what has become an annual tradition: "The Marcus Community Fair." Each passing decade has contributed additional growth and variety, coupled with changes; all told, culminating into the largest and most popular event held in our community each year. The eighteen member board of directors and other volunteers continue to promote events and activities with a strong emphasis as a Family Fair, offering competition and enjoyment for all ages. The 2008 Annual Fair will be the 25th year of free gate admission to all. In order to finance this large community event, various fundraisers are held throughout the year, coupled with state and county funding, plus the booster club. The Fair Board extends "Thanks" to all of you who support this annual event, and hope you continue to enjoy the Marcus Community Fair. The Fair Board
